Our Story
Barbara & Joe Lewis
Joe and Barbara Lewis began ministering to children in 2003 @ Life Church. Their love for children and families grew and inspired them to open the first center in 2008 in Shreveport @ Life Church. Seeing a need for a center in Keithville they worked hard to create a warm, safe, fun center that children would want to come to. LDC opened its doors for the first time in July 2013. You will see MR. Joe is at the center early in the morning making sure our children and staff are safe. While Mrs. Barbara is behind the desk making sure the administrative task is taken care of. In March of 2022, they decided to slow down and enjoy their family and friends a bit more and sold the preschool across the street & focus on the school-age students now.
